The professor’s inheritance

Can a short, balding, middle-aged bachelor from Oxford University possibly become an intergalactic freedom fighter?

Peter Cornelius Rogan Blackwell certainly doesn’t think so.

However, events conspire to impel him into that direction. The realisation that the few paranormal tricks he employed as a child were inherited from a roguish ancestor drive him further to embrace these gifts and develop them further.

He is aided in this endeavor by an aging hippy from New Zealand, Bill Anderson, and Li Po, a Chinese tailor who guides Peter in understanding more about who he is and the role he could be called upon to play.

The Professor’s Inheritance is a stand-alone tale from The Thousandth Way Chronicles.

When a minor character in an epic tale is so masterfully drawn that they demand their own story, a clever writer will deliver. This succinct little book is a prelude to The Thousandth Way Chronicles and is a most enjoyable read.
